My thoughts on Tuesday

Tuesday. It always seems like the odd-day-out to me, not really the first day of the week with its celebratory beginning, but sort of stuck off all by itself.  People don't love or hate Tuesday like they do Monday and Friday. It doesn't get the glorious name of "hump-day" like Wednesday, or feel like the week is coming to a close like Thursday.  I feel sort of sad for it, actually. The only thing I don't really like about it is the mail; Tuesday is junk mail day when all we get are sale fliers, but never any "real" mail.  Even the weeks where a holiday falls on Monday and Tuesday is the first work day, people are so busy catching up from what they missed they fail to laud Tuesday as a wonderful day to catch up. So sad.

Today I finished editing the first of nine sections for the eBook, made several cards, and packaged up another etsy sale. It is always such a delightful surprise to find those emails in my in-box saying I have made a sale!  I put beans on to cook for our dinner, and they scented the house up all afternoon--not quite as nice as bread or cookies baking, but comforting, nonetheless.

On a less happy note, I was tugging on the drawer pull to get some cards out of the armoire in my studio and it broke in half! Obviously it was cheap metal, but I will have to get another one soon because I use that drawer all the time and it is quite impossible to open it with just the one handle.

I worked until fairly late in the day (for me) and got a great start on a Christmas gift for Ornery's mom.
