New Dining Pictures

Here are a couple pictures from the new arrangement of the dining room.  There is still more work to do on the decorating front, but this is a good start!

This was taken before we painted. It shows the curio and little oak shelves on the wall.

This picture is from just after we painted.  We had the antique cupboard on the bedroom wall, no leaf in the table, disassembled light fixture  and the curio next to the living room.
This is a view of the whole thing from the hall just outside the kitchen doorway with the new arrangement. See? The light is fixed!  That little wall to the left of the door is where the clock dishes will hang in their new frame.  (I'll post when finished!)
The three little pictures I put together are hanging on the right side of the curio.  I decided not to put the three little oak shelves back up on the wall, so the cabinet is a little more full now since I put several things that were on the shelves inside.  I don't know about the white table cloth and candles on the table, but I was just using what I already had. It could really use a fall arrangement, don't you think?
Here is the antique cupboard in its new spot.  I painted (although not very well) the basket that is on the top, and you can see the newly adorned birdcage all lit up!  I should probably change out the Christmas wrapping paper I have lining the shelves in the cupboard, huh?
Finally, a close up of the cute little cage. I think I will see if I can find some bittersweet sprigs to poke inside. I think it needs a little something. I guess my projects are always works in progress!
