I actually managed to skip the nap yesterday and slept a normal (for me) night! I feel better about that, for sure! I was beginning to think I had my days and nights mixed up, only I am quite certain that only happens to babies.
Yesterday I made three ATCs with used postage stamps on them. I spent an enjoyable couple of hours pawing through my old stamp collection trying to decide which ONE stamp out of all the THOUSANDS I had to choose from to use for the swap. I sent one of them off this morning to a swapper in the UK.
Today's challenge is to make four cards with a single background technique--three to swap, one to keep. The technique I tried yesterday failed spectacularly, and is now resting peacefully in the trash--all four copies of it! It was on canvas paper, and I was sad to part with those little treasures, but it was necessary.
This weekend Ornery is helping our next door neighbor to a few home repairs to get his house ready to sell. His company has asked him to move to Dallas, so they will be leaving us soon. Hopefully it doesn't take us two years to get acquainted with the next family that moves in. It is sad to see them go, as they have been great neighbors.

ReplyDeleteI wouldn't do it if I had to put my stuff away every time I worked. I LOVE having a dedicated room and plenty of space in which to work. I used to crop at scrapbook stores, but what a hassle to haul all my stuff around. No way I could do that, now!

ReplyDeleteToday I'm going to make a very small batch of salsa with the pickings from the garden. Wasn't a lot but enough for a jar!
Jeff, you have more energy than any three people I know! Hope your salsa is good. I am going to rip out the tomatoes and stomp them into the dirt. :( Not a single 'mater. Zero.
