Weekend in Review: Nada

Saturday morning Ornery and I went to breakfast at Panera and on the way saw the lunar eclipse. I thought it looked like a big fat guy sat on the moon and squashed the top of it. :)  It was the first time I had seen one of those.  I have seen partial solar eclipses, and noted the eerie shade that covered everything until the moon passed by, but I had never seen the earth's shadow over the moon.  The moon was full or nearly so, and in the early morning light it was easy to see the "indention" on the top of it.

As for the rest of the weekend, I sat. And Sunday afternoon I got to hold my new granddaughter for a couple hours while she slept. That was my weekend in a nutshell.
